You are definitely wondering why you are the reason and for what reason. Do not worry because you will soon understand and all your unanswered questions will be answered. The text John 3:16 is very common and you probably know it. The Father loves you so much because you are His creation that is why He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross so that you could become the righteousness of God. When it is said that for God so loved the world, it means that the world is you; for before you were born again, you had fallen short of God’s glory. Because of the love that God has for the sinner, He decided to give His only Son Jesus Christ so that you may be saved from the sin of the world into a new person. One interesting thing that you should know is that even if you were the only sinner on this earth, God would still send His Son for you. When Jesus Christ came down from heaven, He left all the glory and became a little lower than angels so that He could carry all your burdens. All the persecutions and the sufferings that He went through were because of you so that you could have eternal life. Therefore when the LORD God looks at you, He sees His Son and so do not throw away this love that God has for you. Just imagine how you would feel when you give someone a gift and they misuse it or they never appreciate it. You would definitely be hurt. In the same way when you throw away the love that God showed us it is the same as rejecting His Son Jesus Christ. Now you know that you are the reason why God sent His only begotten Son. Alleluia!

Prayer

Dear LORD Jesus Christ, because of Your love, I am the reason that You came so that You could die and take the burden of my sins and transgressions from me. I know that You did this for me because You did not want to see me suffer any more but free to praise You. I love You LORD Jesus Christ and I thank You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
