Today I would like to give you a message of encouragement which will make you a cut above your generation. This is a message of faith in Jesus Christ who came to give everyone who will believe in Him eternal hope. When He suffered in our place at the Cross of Calvary, the Son of God never lost focus at all. He was never destructed even by the nails that were driven through His hands and feet. This even made Him focus on God even much stronger. There is no suffering that you will go through in this world that will be greater than what Jesus Christ our Saviour went through. When He was in pain at the Cross, Jesus Christ was able to counsel his own mother Mary who, just like any mother, was standing so helplessly below the Cross watching her Son die a terrible death. You must know that the reason for Christ to come into this world was to give us who believe in Him, a hope, not for life in this corrupt world, but for eternal life in His Father’s kingdom. Therefore any challenges we may face in this world should never make us lose focus of our eternal destiny. Any challenge you may face in this world should make you to pray to God even the more. You should not lose heart at all because of the happenings around you because all these are temporary and cannot be compared to the joy that awaits you in heaven where our LORD Jesus Christ is. Do not concentrate on the visible, but concentrate on the invisible. Listen to what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Such an attitude is what distinguishes you from people of this world. So whatever you may be going through should actually strengthen your focus on God and never cause you to lose heart. Alleluia!

Prayer

Thank You Father for strengthening me through the testimonies of Your saints who endured in all challenges of this life without losing heart at all knowing that they had a greater reward in heaven. May You also give me the grace never to lose heart, no matter what I may go through in this world. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
