LIFE OF PEACE AND PROSPERITY

Devotion of the Day

(Psalms 23:1-2)

The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.”

Additional Verses
πŸ“– Psalm 23:1-6; Psalm 91:1-16; Matthew 11:25-30; John 16:33-34

God says in His Word, He has promised you a great future and life in abundance. He does not have any evil thoughts and does not want to see you suffering or lacking anything. You can only have this glorious life when you make the LORD your Shepherd. When you make Him your Shepherd and give Him full control of your life, He will lead you to peace, prosperity and success. Many people know Psalms 23 by head, but they say it without revelation because they have not made the LORD their Shepherd. When you trust God with your life, He will do wonders for you because He is not a man that He should lie but He is God El Shaddai who is the Great Nourisher. David was fully yielded to the LORD and this is the reason he was so bold to make the above declaration. Once you fully yield yourself to the LORD as David did, He becomes your refuge and your fortress as well as your strength. His anointing will minister for you in every situation. In your day today activities the ministry of the Holy Spirit will include bringing of the presence of God in everything you do. When you encounter with both believers and non- believers, they will all notice that there is something extraordinary about you. As John 14:26 says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my Name, He shall teach you all things and bring  all things to your remembrance, whatsoever  l have said unto you.” The Holy Spirit will further give you the nature of God which is righteousness such that you will be able to stand in the presence of God without any sense of guilty. Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” Everything that you will ever do will be at rest. Remember what the LORD Jesus Christ said in Matthew 11:28 when He says, “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” The above Psalm is also evidence of one who really knows what it means to live in the rest of the LORD. There is so much that the LORD will do for you and in you once you are fully yielded to Him. The list is actually inexhaustible. To sum everything up, when you put all your trust in Jesus Christ, your life will be full of peace and prosperity. Alleluia!

Prayer

Dear Father, Your Son lived a life that You directed Him here on earth and thank You that I can do the same. In the name of Jesus Christ, I know that prosperity is mine and my life is full of peace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
