CALL UNTO THE LORD

Devotion of the Day

(Jeremiah 33:3 Amp. Bible)

โ€œCall to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).โ€ (Jeremiah 33:3 Amp. Bible)

Additional Verses
๐Ÿ“– Jeremiah 33:1-26; Matthew 6:25-30

Because you are a child of God and His Spirit dwells in you, there is no need to suffer or to lack anything. There is no need to be discouraged or disadvantaged. God has great thoughts and plans for you no matter what the world might say about you. As Jeremiah in the above text is saying, because you are connected to God by His anointing in you, all you need to do is to call upon Him in faith and He will certainly answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you,” says the LORD, “thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” There is therefore no need for you to continue to lie in that sick bed or to continue in that life of poverty because all that does not fit anywhere in God’s great plan for you. You have to start calling upon the LORD’s name as He is directing you in the above text and change that course in order to get into the right course. There is no problem with birds flying above your head, but certainly there are serious problems when the birds begin to lend upon your head and you also let them go on to build nests and lay eggs on your head. What I am saying is that as a child of God you must never allow the Devil to deceive you in anyway. You must know that the Word of God has declared that you are more than a conqueror and a victor. God would like to reveal to you the hidden manna for the blessing of your life, but first you must be an overcomer through the declaration of His Word to influence your situation. When God gave the above prophecy to Jeremiah to comfort His people, it was at a time when they were in a very difficult situation as the whole land was under siege. But the LORD reminded them to call upon His name for salvation. Your life may be under siege from all directions and yet the Word of God still encourages you that if you call upon the name of the LORD you will be saved. As surely as the Word of God in Jeremiah 33:6 says, “Behold [in the future restored Jerusalem] I will lay upon it health and healing, and I will cure them and will reveal to them the abundance of peace (prosperity, security, stability) and truth.” The same Word of the LORD which remains the same every day is assuring you also to call upon the name of Jesus Christ in faith and He will prosper you, give you security and stability for Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Alleluia!
